Having watched Baby Lifeline over the last 10 years grow, fund raise and really make a difference to pregnant women and their babies, I was delighted to be invited to the launch of their Monitoring for Mums Appeal: Safer Pregnancies & Births at the The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
To add to this celebration Baby Lifeline was celebrating their 35th Anniversary. Judy Ledger, the CEO and Founder of Baby Lifeline is tireless in her ability to motivate and raise much needed funds to give mums and their newborn babies the best possible care.

Monitoring for Mums Appeal
Baby Lifeline has received many applications for funding from the majority of NHS maternity units this year, with over half asking for important monitoring equipment and associated training for staff.
The support will make a real difference to families across the UK – reducing stillbirth rates, avoiding preventable braininjuries, and promoting normal birth. Baby Lifeline’s nationwide Monitoring for Mums major appeal will raise funds, region by region, for this much needed technology and training, helping to give mums and babies the best care possible.
Equipment funding requests have so far totalled £4.5 million and keep coming in, so Baby Lifeline will need your help.
How You Can Help
Maternity units have asked Baby Lifeline to support the dedicated care given to mums and their babies with raising awareness of their appeal and to reach their fundraising target with activities, events or donations from your your local community, or on a national level.
