I was very excited to receive these belly buds. They were something that i think are a great concept and allows you to bond with your baby in a unique way. I like that the noise level is restricted so you know you’re not blasting your baby on the inside. It is definitely handy having the audio line splitter as i found it very strange not hearing what baby was listening to!
My biggest issue with these was what to play for my twins. I wanted music that would be relaxing but also something i’d be happy l=to listen to with them and also after they were born so that they would hear familiar music that will hopefully be soothing. I created a small playlist of some songs that were ‘easy listening’ and told the rest of the family i had some serious stuff to do and went off to a quiet room whilst I read a book and listened to my newly created playlist with my unborn twins.
I am hoping my babies enjoyed the music and bonding time as much as I did. It feels great to be doing something together, a shared activity.
I wish the box had a few more spare sticky pads for the buds and maybe some variation of colour – green just doesn’t do it for me! otherwise these are great – definitely recommended.
Would make a great baby shower gift for expectant mums too

I was very pleased to be asked to review this product. I was not quite sure what to expect when it arrived. The packaging is attractive with a green and white theme. The speakers are good quality and are made of sturdy plastic. They are essentially 2 head phones that have sticky pads that can be stuck to the tummy. You are then able to attach the head phones to your phone and choose the songs that you would like to play to the baby.

It is not very clear how loud you put it. I guess if you feel the baby kicking you hope that the baby can hear what you are playing. Some of the more cynical members of the family were querying how it is different to playing music in the room as surely the baby would be able to hear this too!!
I liked the fact that I did not have to be attached to anything and that I could move around freely with the pads attached.

I enjoyed using it to bond with the baby. I think it helps you to concentrate more on what you are playing to the baby. It would be nice to see when the baby is delivered how it responds to some of the music played whilst they were in utero. I am looking forward to doing this!

The opportunity to test these belly buds was greatly appreciated.

Belly buds are basically headphones that allow you to play music and sounds to your baby through (you guessed it) your belly. It’s a great way of bonding with your unborn child.

So, what’s in the box, you get:
    Speakers
    2x adhesives
    audio splitter
    storage case

The idea of the belly buds is to using the adhesives (or in my case not) to stick the speakers to your stomach and play soothing (or whatever takes your fancy) music to your baby. I chose to play music I like to dance along to so that when my baby is born they will (hopefully) remember having heard it and enjoy it. My five year old son was also eager to play the baby music he likes which again will hopefully help them to forge a bond together, as did my husband.

Before downloading the free app via google play we found songs via youtube and played them via my samsung galaxy s6. Once the app was downloaded I noticed it came with 4 free lullabies and you have the ability to create playlists for different members of the family and voice notes so the baby learns to different family members voices.

It has been great to test this product and I am looking forward to playing these same songs to my baby once they are born to see if they do in fact respond to the songs.

    I highly recommend this product.
