Preparing Emotionally for Parenthood
Your emotional wellbeing matters just as much as your physical wellbeing. Whether you’re expecting your first baby, preparing to welcome another child or adjusting to life as a new parent, you don’t have to navigate the emotional challenges of parenthood alone.

Course Overview
“Preparing Emotionally for Parenthood” is a supportive, accessible online course designed to help expectant and new parents understand and navigate the emotional realities of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Developed with The PANDAS Foundation and supported by Aldi, this Now Baby course recognises that becoming a parent can bring a wide range of feelings, from joy and excitement to anxiety, uncertainty and overwhelm. Through six short, easy-to-follow chapters, it explores perinatal mental health, emotional resilience, preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a new baby and the importance of recognising when additional support may be needed.
