Health Visitor and Baby Massage Expert

Bianca is a qualified adult nurse and registered Health Visitor. She currently lives in Bedfordshire with her partner. Bianca has worked as a qualified health visitor for over 7 years and has worked across 2 inner London boroughs, one of which she grew up in and knows very well. Previous to her nursing and Health Visiting career, Bianca gained a degree in psychology and uses this theory to support parents with their postnatal mental health.
Bianca has also worked as a clinical educator supporting new healthcare staff in their theory and knowledge of health sciences and supporting them to settle into their new roles.
Bianca is qualified in the newborn behavioural observation tool and uses this to show parents how responsive their babies are from birth helping parents to “tune in” to their baby’s needs and support the developing bond between parent and child.
Bianca also leads on antenatal education within her department with a focus on supporting parents in the early weeks of parenthood in areas such as bonding, brain development, postnatal depression, managing crying and feeding.
Bianca is an accredited infant massage instructor and is registered with the international association of infant massage. Bianca works privately delivering baby massage courses in group settings and on a one to one basis in client’s homes.
Bianca works as a mentor to student nurses and Health Visitors within her trust and is passionate about education. She is excited about educating parents to make the best health decisions for their children and this has brought her to the Now baby team to develop her skills even further.
