Journey to Motherhood
Midwife Run Education In the Comfort of Your Home
Live & Personable
Our 8 session, online antenatal course begins with the Journey to Motherhood class – which explores in detail the third trimester and preparing for your baby’s birth.
We start off with getting to know each other – finding out about pregnancies and when baby is due, as well as an overview of the next few weeks.
Our midwives, who all work within the NHS and private practice, will then share their knowledge and expertise on understanding your pregnancy care, what to expect in upcoming appointments and important information such as which healthcare professional will be supporting you during birth and after.
We know that for many parents preparing for labour and birth can be daunting, which is why our live and interactive class delves into options on where to have your baby – at home, in a birth centre or hospital and what this means, as well as your pregnancy well-being and health, especially when to call for help.
There is lots of practical advice too – and questions are always welcome, we don’t mind being interrupted at all! Our midwives will use their experience to advise on essential information such as what to pack in your hospital bag, what a birth plan is and what to include in it – as well as advice on changes to your body and diet to be aware of.

Thank you so much for the classes and all your advice, we have loved all of them.
Dear Amina, thank you for the fantastic talks over the last few weeks. We learnt a great deal and I am sure we will be looking back at your talks in the early days! Best wishes
I loved my classes. I really enjoyed each one and they were so informative. Amina is very friendly and accommodates all questions she is asked without any judgement.

Journey to Motherhood – We love helping new parents
“The third trimester is all about changes and preparing for your baby’s arrival. It’s also when you start to notice changes most in your body and get some of those aches and pains. By knowing what to expect and getting started with your birth plan or packing your hospital bag can really help you in starting to get prepared and ready for your baby’s birth.”
